About garlic
Our garlic is the regular desi variety with medium cloves and strong flavour. Good bulbs are firm and heavy with dry, papery skin and cloves that feel tight. Peel a week's supply at a time and keep it in the fridge to save time.
A 250 g pack is usually six to ten bulbs.
How we pick it
We choose firm, dry bulbs with tight cloves and no sprouting, softness or mould.
How to store it
Keep whole bulbs in a dry, airy place out of the sun; they last several weeks. Peeled cloves keep about a week in a sealed box in the fridge.
