Vegetables for weddings & receptions

Book all the vegetables for a wedding, engagement or reception in advance, delivered fresh to your venue or caterer.

Weddings run on tight timelines. The halwai needs the right vegetables, in the right quantities, at the venue before cooking starts — often very early in the morning. We take that task off your list.

What we handle for weddings

  • Vegetables for every function: mehendi, haldi, sangeet, wedding day and reception.
  • Delivery split across several days and times, matched to your caterer's schedule.
  • Salad vegetables (cucumber, tomato, onion, carrot, beetroot, lemon) delivered separately and fresher, close to serving time.
  • Herbs and greens — coriander, mint, methi — packed so they do not wilt on the way.

How much will you need?

Quantities depend on the menu and on how many dishes use each vegetable, so your caterer's list is always the best guide. If you do not have a list yet, our quotation form can fill in a rough starting estimate from your guest count, which you can then adjust with your caterer.

Engagements and receptions

Smaller functions such as roka, engagement or a reception dinner follow the same process. Tell us each function's date and guest count in one request and we will quote them together.

Booking timeline

  • 2–6 weeks before: send the request and get an estimate.
  • After menu finalisation: we update the quantities and send the quotation; you confirm with an advance.
  • 1–2 days before: final rates are confirmed and stock is bought.
  • On the day: delivery at the agreed time with a packing list for your caterer to check.

Book at least 3 days ahead; for peak wedding-season dates, earlier is better.

Frequently asked questions

Can you deliver to the venue early in the morning?

Yes. We agree the delivery time with you or your caterer in the quotation. Early-morning slots are popular in wedding season, so book them early.

How do I estimate vegetables for my guests?

Your caterer's menu is the best guide. If you do not have it yet, the quotation form can fill in a rough estimate from your guest count, which you can then adjust.

Can you split deliveries across several functions?

Yes. List each function's date and guest count in your request, and we will schedule separate deliveries.
