About ginger
Fresh ginger has thin, shiny skin that peels easily with a spoon and a sharp, warm aroma. It is used in masala chai, ginger-garlic paste, dal tadka, pickles and kadha. A 250 g pack lasts a typical family one to two weeks.

We pick firm, plump knobs with smooth skin and no wrinkles, mould or soft patches.
How to store it
Store unpeeled in a paper bag in the fridge for 2–3 weeks, or peel and freeze; frozen ginger grates very easily.
