About sweet potato
Shakarkandi is a winter favourite: roasted on coals, then tossed with lemon and chaat masala. It is also popular during fasts and can be boiled, baked or made into tikki. Our sweet potatoes have pinkish-red skin and pale, sweet flesh.
Choose similar-sized pieces if you are roasting, so they cook evenly.

Store in a cool, dry, dark place (not the fridge) and use within 1–2 weeks.
