About guava
Guava season runs from late monsoon through winter, when the fruit is most fragrant. Firmer, greener guavas are crunchy and slightly tart; yellow-green ones are softer and sweeter. We pack a mix unless you ask for one kind in the order notes.
A kilo is usually six to eight medium guavas.
How we pick it
We choose firm, unblemished guavas with a fresh smell and no dark spots, holes or soft patches.
How to store it
Keep at room temperature to soften for 1–2 days, then refrigerate and use within 4–5 days.
