About papaya
We send papayas that are ripe or one day away from ripe, with yellow-orange patches on the skin. The flesh should be deep orange and sweet with no bitter aftertaste. Mention in the order notes if you want one for tomorrow instead of today.
Sold per piece; each papaya is roughly 1–1.5 kg.
How we pick it
We choose papayas with smooth skin turning yellow, that give slightly under the thumb, with no dark sunken patches.
How to store it
Ripen at room temperature, then refrigerate and eat within 2–3 days. Once cut, cover and refrigerate; use within a day.
